My son saw four Painted Button Quail 'on the track to Mt Majura (on the
Hackett side)' Saturday afternoon, possibly the same bird(s)?

Hi There,
Immediately behind No 53 Mackenzie st Hackett is a
gully, running on the Northern side of this gully on Sat the third, close
to
the top of the saddle as the last casuarinas are seen there was a single

Painted Quail, quiet and trusting or tired?
I live at 57 Mackenzie and on my plot is a back
shed,adjacent
to the Walkway, halfway up the trunk of the tree in front of this
shed,most
sunny days my prodigal Tawny frogmouths may be seen sunning
themselves,by
arrangement photographers may take a shot from the adjacent window, ring
62497710 if you want an update....Regards,Terry Gourlay.
