I also found an adult Little Friarbird by the pond at Chat's Cafe in late morning. But no sign of the Blue-faced HE despite rigorous searching over a large area for 3 hours (from 9.30-12.30). I returned in the afternoon with Benj and spent another
1.5 hours (from 3.15-4.45) staking out the usual spots with no luck.
It seems the last time anyone saw the BFHE was at 9.25am today. Other birds seen included a green Satin Bowerbird.
Cheers
Marnix
