Northside Satin Bower Bird

I saw the exact same bird IN the ANBG at 4:30pm yesterday!   I remarked to myself (as I often do, nearly always getting agreement) that it was alone, and looked very "nervous", unlike others I have seen in Queensland etc.  It tried twice scrabbling on the ground but got firmly shooed away by chuffs, eventually hiding deep inside a bushy tree.

Obviously it might not have been the same bird, and I freely admit to being a rank beginner at this bird business, but I am pretty sure it was a female bowerbird.  They cannot be rare in Canberra, otherwise I would not have seen one. Every interesting bird I look up in my books says "common".
