On Saturday, through Hawker in the afternoon were honeyeaters on
the move. In 20 minutes saw about 20 yellow faces, 2 spinebills and
interestingly 1 white eared. A couple of golden whistlers. Heading east. White
ears are very rare at my house, only seeing them 2 or 3 times
before.
Also a flock of
silvereyes, about 14, heading the opposite direction.
At lunchtime today I saw a flock of 26 dusky woodswallows heading
North in a swirling uncoordinated
mass.
