I had a look at 8 this morning, but could find no Swift Parrots.

Following on from yesterday's report of possible Swift Parrots in Cook,
a small group of dedicated birders congregated outside 51-53 Lyttleton
Crescent last evening but were not able to confirm the presence of Swift
Parrots or any other unusual species in the area. The tree in question
appears to be an Indian Myna roost which was briefly disturbed by a
visit from a Sparrowhawk. We met both the sender of the email and
another local resident who attested to the presence of unusual and noisy
birds roosting in the tree recently but, whatever these birds are, they
failed to put in an appearance last night. The only parrots
congregating in the area were Eastern Rosellas - I observed a small
flock of about 10 in a tree further up the street. As I live not too
far from this area, I'll check it out again over the weekend.

Regards
Frank
