And I believe the Flores Crow is the only endemic bird on the island but it is very difficult to 1. get to the island and 2. find the bird.  Some years ago the driver we had on Bali and Java offered to take us there but it did seem a little 'off the beaten track' for just one endemic species.
 
And, locally, there was a WT Eagle slowly circling over the northern boundary of Fairburn Golf Club and I was very pleased to see about 25 RR Parrots fly over - couldn't count them as I was playing in a team event and had to concentrate on the job at hand.
