There was an Intermediate Egret at Dunlop Pond yesterday. It was at the 'Meadows' estate end with a White-faced Heron. I counted 66 Hoary-headed Grebes here as well, and a Hobby. At Jarramlee Road there was a Restless Flycatcher.

On a morning walk around Gungahlin Pond yesterday were 3 Darters and no less than 20 domestic ducks of one type or another, including 1 Mallard.

Yesterday afternoon had me at Hall TSR watching a male Eastern Shrike-tit feeding a begging juvenile. Also here 10+ Dusky Woodswallows and 4 Red-browed Finches. On the drive home I passed 44 Straw-necked Ibis on the Gold Creek ovals.

Cheers
Marnix
