Good description. Here is the text from the GBS
report as to what it is (page 55): "The exotic Barbary Dove Streptopelia
risoria, which is also a common aviary bird, was also recorded as one
escaped bird." So now we have another record (though not a GBS obs). Definitely
NOT a very young Spotted
Turtle-Dove.
