Hi All
 
I have a mottled SBB eating bean leaves in the vegetable garden. I think it must be a young male changing to the satin BB black , his top half  is still greenish but lower feathers are quite dark.
 
The first time I saw SBBs eating the climbing bean leaves in our garden was in January 2003 and they come each year now.
