We walked from the Boboyan car-park to Yankee Hat and back this
afternoon, and I was disappointed not to see the usual Hooded Robins
around the car-park and in the YH woodland. Similalrly there were no
Scarlet Robins. Has anyone seen them there in recent years? Good birds on the walk were dozens of Pipits around the car-park (but not out on the flat), and dozens of Little Ravens. Fuscous Honeyeaters were feeding young in the woodland around the car-park. -- John Leonard Canberra Australia www.jleonard.net |
