Exciting at Campbell Park this morning. Trillers, whistlers, dusky wood
swallows, striated pardalottes all feeding dependent young. Were these the
trillers and whistlers that we had watched on their nest for about 3 weeks?
(Rhetorical question. We just don't know.). The nests that they occupied
can now be seen up close
We watched a pair of yellow throated gerygones building their nest on
December 17th in CP. They are still sitting on the nest
Dependent young of leaden fly catchers last week, and back before
Christmas, dependent young of grey shrike thrushes. Many young black faced
cuckoo shrikes around. All this activity has been taking place close to the
car park.
Forgot several nests of noisey friar birds. A dollar bird there this morning
We have been going to Campbell Park on a regular basis for many years and I
cannot remember a year as good as this one for nesting
Thanks to Jack for organising the boat trip on Sunday.
