I posted this message (below) last week about having seen a number of swallows in Canberra, in which the number was large. I stopped at the same place and same time yesterday. The birds were there again. The number was at least a few thousand I think. I would be willing to hypothesise that this is not just a Sunday occurrence. Worth seeing.
