Superb Parrots have been seen twice this week south of the most southern part of Cook. At 7 am today there were 10 in a eucalypt in the horse paddock south of Cook and east of Mount Painter. They included at least one adult male, and some young. They were then joined by singles coming from the north (perhaps to escape Sue's vigilance), then flew further south along a line of eucalypts towards William Hovell Drive.

So watch out Curtin, they may yet make it to salubrious Southside Canberra!

Muriel
