After a few days away from Superb country, and after Muriel’s posting about the birds on Macquarie oval, I decided to check out the Hawker ovals this morning. A group of 6 Superbs flushed from (presumably) the most south-westerly oval and wheeled overhead, and more were heard calling, but by the time the corgi and I got there, there were none to be seen. They are still working these suburbs though. b
