A fairly quick trip to the Brindies this morning, mostly for flowers but
a couple of other obs. A largeish (15+) flock of choughs near Bulls Head
at about 1200m asl, a bit higher than I'm used to seeing them. Also a
Flame Robin on 3 eggs in a nest at knee-height in a rockside crevice,
screened by a thin mat of dead Stellaria. And the usual Spotted
Q-thrushes all along the road.
