Yes. well, it was a bit hard, and I'm not saying I'd have got all - or any -
of them myself.
(3) is a Speckled Warbler - Benj got this.
(1) is a Yellow Robin - sombre liquid eye in bluish-grey plumage.
(5) is the immature, a Grey Shrike-thrush, trace of rufous over the eye.
Anthony Overs got that.
That leaves (2) and (4) as the pair, and the rarish non-residents. The male
(4) shows black with a trace of white in a bottom corner. Female is
distinctly brownish in this example. (They vary a bit.) Any ideas? Tick,
tick, tick ...
(6) - sent separately, is a poorly lit shot of a Rufous Whistler eye.
Full list is -
Eastern Yellow Robin
Painted Honeyeater, female
Speckled Warbler
Painted Honeyeater, male
Grey Shrike-thrush, immature
Rufous Whistler, male
