Superb Parrots

I think they are most likely wild

I think Barbara Allan has seen small groups on several occasions at the
Hawker ovals. I've seen one bird in Scullin, heading north from the
Hawker ovals.

It's only a couple of kms to places like Mt Rogers/Flynn/Fraser where
they are seen regularly, particularly in December and January.

You do not need to go so far afield to see Superb Parrots, although
maybe
not breeding ones.

Yesterday afternoon as I was walking home just after the rain, one pair
of
Superb Parrots flew from the direction of KFC at Hawker Shops to the
Bowling
Club across the road...
