I am circulating this as an item of interest to members who live in this
area, including the suburbs abutting Mt Majura reserve. You might be
interested in the article in the Sustainable Times newsletter about the
proposal for a dragway on Block 51 in the Majura Valley.  A community group
Dragwayaway - has been formed to raise public awareness about noise and
other issues.  It can also be accessed on website: www.ecoaction.net.au
