Another busy weekend of birding in the local ranges with highlights being a Cicadabird heard in woodland at Fairlight Rd (near Uriarra Xing), a Pilotbird first heard then seen at Old Mill Rd (Brindabellas), a Rufous Fantail along Warks Rd (Brindabellas), and Grey Currawongs and Flame Robins by the summit of Mt Ginini along with a migrating(?) flock of 9 Red Wattlebirds. Wonga Pigeons, Satin Flycatchers , Sacred Kingfisher, Flame Robin, and Brush Cuckoo were calling along Round Flat Fire Trail (Tinderries) and Satin Flycatchers were present in most gullies in the Brindabellas.
While an epic bike ride around Mulligans Flat on Saturday produced the usual spring migrants including a Shining Bronze-Cuckoo plus Speckled Warblers and a Grey Currawong.

Cheers
Marnix
