Passed the Bungendore Sewage works this afternoon to find a pair of Coot nest building.  One bird bringing in material and the other standing on the nest busily arranging the material brought in by partner.  The nest is visible from the turn-off into the sewage works.  Anyone going along Bungendore Road keep an eye out for it will be interesting to see if the breeding attempt is successful.
