Smallest ever?

The white sign on the tree reads "Water Club bird sanctuary"  Since the 5 trees, 1 shrub and 5 square metres comprise the only habitat in sight I wonder if this is the smallest nature reserve in existence?  I run past here at least once a week and have never seen a bird - not even a House Sparrow or Rock Dove.
