Richard Allen would be the person to tell you about both babbler spp from his site 3-hours from Canberra, with his store of data from 15-odd years and 80-plus field trips there.  Both sets of residents occur in the same area, but the white-browed tend to favour the denser callitris-dominated growth while the grey-crowned range over the more open woodland.  They come together at the veg boundaries
