This morning I had three observations in Watson:

1. Fan-tailed Cuckoo calling from a tree at our neighbours' yard
2. A Grey Currawong calling from an Ash tree in our garden
3. A male Spotted Turtle Dove performing his display flight. Steeply
climbing with loud wing beats and a dive with stiff wings and the tail
fanned.

The last bit (STD) was in central Watson (Jordan Pl.) and repeated several
times. I've been seeing and hearing the doves there for some time. Last year
I tried to locate the nest but couldn't, I'll try again this year.
