I popped by the National Gallery yesterday arvo.
Saw a yellow tufted honeyeater, for about 30 seconds until it was chased
towards the High court by wattlebird. 1 fuscous honeyeater. Also red
wattlebirds breeding, including a pair with 2 fledglings, another with 1
fledgling, a nest with 2 or 3 begging young, and possibly another nest. Plenty
of honeyeaters, white plume, white naped, and yellow faced. 1 redbrow hanging
around suspiciously in the mist pond, perhaps it has a nest. Plenty of fairy
wrens and scrubwrens. Also, see below.
Last Thursday at work, Barton, there was a magppie with at least 2 begging
chicks on nest.

Looking at James Rolevink photos, some interesting observations:
No. 14 & 16 show a female golden whistler, the female has yellow/buff edged
wings and black beak. An immature has rufous edged wings and part of the beak
is 'bone' coloured.
No. 17 grey currawong- A pied currawong has white rump and more white tail.
This bird has no white rump and less white tail. This is often the easiest
feature to pick up when they are flying away in forest.
No. 26 white browed scrubwren- This female has a bent up tail tip- showing that
it has been sitting on-the-nest.
