Many thanks to all who have sent me info/advice re books and material on
birds and gardens - should be able to have a lot of useful material on the
day (as long as I have the organising time!) . I have looked through my
shelves of gardening etc books and have to hand: Pizzey's 'A Garden of
Birds' (1988) and his more recent 'The Australian Bird-Garden' (2000);
George Adam's 'Birdscaping your Garden' (1980), and Ellen McCulloch's 'Your
garden birds' (1987 - though rather positive re berries, blackbirds, STDs
etc . . .). I'll check out the ANBG bookshop, and other sources that have
been mentioned.
