On Saturday I saw a rose robin male at Aranda bushland. It was in a MFF with >50 striated pardalotes, and 20 yellow faced honeyeaters- Interestingly all the yellow faced honeyeaters came down to feed on the same urn heath (Melichrus urceolatus) in flower. 1 grey currawong. Many plants in flower (see Black Mountain list), but didnt see any orchids. Some unusual ones were Stypandra, A green flowered correa, some hybrid grevilleas.

Also many striated pardalotes calling on Black Mountain (at least 12 separate males), a grey currawong, 2 common bronzewings. Two species of frogs, one weeeek, the other pok pok pok. Many plants in flower, particularly beard heaths- Leucopogons, Cryptandra amara, Hovea linearis, False sarsparilla- hardenbergia violacea,  and wattles, early wattle A.genistifolia, A.lanigera, and Ploughshear wattle- A.buxifolia. I havent checked the names so they may not be quite right.
