Went to Jerrabomberra wetlands.
They are burning off the silt trap area. Was there a fence across Kellys swamp
before? I cant remember. Well there is now.
Saw >17 double bar finches,
>8 redbrow finches, 21 dusky woodswallows. 1 fantailed cuckoo. 1 dead wombat-
which seemed very strange. 1 little eagle flew through the smoke. A possible
brown goshawk in the distance
'quartering'. 3 male and 3 female blue billed ducks. The brightest male
was aggressive towards the male bird in immature/partial male plumage. Didn't
see many other ducks, although only checked one sewerage pond. Benj
