There is a resident pair of Grey Currawongs in scrubby bushland outside my office on the eastern edge of the ANU campus (between Liversidge Street and the Parkway). I say resident because I have seen and heard them several times in the same area over the past 6 months. There are always Pied Cs around but I have never seen any agonistic behaviour by either species. I will keep watching for interactions between them and for breeding activity. David Rosalky |
