I saw a mega-flock of over 50 sitellas at Cambell Park in May. They were with spp such as White-throated Treecreeper, Weebill, Buff-rumped Thornbill and Golden Whistler and I assumed that several small Sitella flocks, or MFFs following sitella flocks, had come together by chance in that particular area.

Today at 12:45pm I saw a group of at least 12 - probably as many as 20 - Varied Sittellas gleaning the dead branches of a clump of Brittle Gum Eucalyptus mannifera at the ANBG. This is the largest group of sittellas I've ever seen, and the first I've seen in the ANBG.
