They probably would have started breeding
activities by now. Maybe at this time of year they have not decided which nest
to use? Hard to imagine two active nests within 100 metres of each other.
I went to Kambah Pool on Thursday and saw one
Wedge-tailed Eagle over the range on the other side of the
river.
I went to Fyshwick on Friday and saw one
Wedge-tailed Eagle over the paddocks beside Tennant Street.
I went to Mount Taylor on Sunday and saw three
Wedge-tailed Eagles over the western side of Mount Taylor, initially all three
flew up together from somewhere near the top of the hill, then one passed very
low over me, about 300 metres from the Tuggeranong Parkway.
These were each just short visits. Not bad for city
living.
