We went for a walk today and located two Wedge-tailed Eagle nests on the Farrer Ridge. One had a bird on it, perhaps moving sticks around the other bird was there too and we saw them fly to and perch in a nearby tree. Does anyone know when they would be likely to have eggs and then young ones? Would you have two active nests within 100 metres of each other or would one be an old one?
