On Sunday went to Tidbinbilla. Saw at Flints carpark (on road to waterbirds) 27 flame robins, but there were probably about 40 as females were harder to see and I mainly saw males, in all different stages of colouring up. When flying, numbers seemed equal between the sexes. This is perhaps the most reliable spot I know for flame robins in winter. I am not sure why they are there yet not elsewhere. Also 1 rock wallaby, white eared honeyeaters, musk duck but still haven't seen the platypus.

On the way to Tid I stopped at Bibaringa and saw nothing, but on the way back I stopped again and saw 2 brown treecreepers, they were feeding mainly on the ground. 1 diamond firetail, 2 southern whitefaces. And on the opposite side of the highway saw a restless flycatcher and pair of scarlet robins.
