Hi all
I was recently asked if there was any safe way to
move a pair of frogmouths that have taken to roosting in a street tree that is
badly damaged and needs prompt removal. My suggestion was that as the frogmouths
are likely to have alternative roost sites they should get a concerned (human)
resident to let them know when the tree was vacant, apparently they have already
tried this with no result. They are reluctant to attempt to move the birds by
forceful means. Any ideas?
