I’ve walked along Swamp Creek from Uriarra Crossing on NPA outings in the distant past; there is a little waterfall and swimming hole further along the creek, maybe 2k or so up.  I tried to find the path recently but couldn’t see a way through the fences.  The area used to be weedy and eroded.  I did, however, see a white phase Grey Goshawk there once – in March 1987!  Didn’t know it was a nature reserve.

Cheers,

Phyl Goddard

Is anyone aware of whether there is public access to Swamp Creek Nature Reserve in the vicinity of Uriarra Crossing.

Regards

Alastair
