Again at Mallacoota, on the weekend, large numbers of RWBs moving north - one flock of a couple of hundred, and smaller groups. I suspect that the atrocious conditions - rain, cold, strong winds - had persuaded them that the balmy autumn was ending and that it was time to make a rapid move. I saw their point.
