Article in New Scientist
I couldn't read the whole article as I am not a
subscriber to New Scientist but the description of birdwatchers as people
who drive all night and pee at the side of the road would describe the field actions
of most outdoor scientists. Whether we are sane or not is another matter. I
prefer to use the term eccentric myself.
However birdwatching is fun. It can be engaged in at any
level and is available to all.
