Yes Sacred Ibis
are common in the ACT. But then how does someone define
common?
Canberra is sort of on the northern edge of most of the range of the white
backed form of the magpie. If it had a "black bar between" it is not a pure
white backed but there is a lot of variation here. Canberra is on the hybrid
zone. But as they are the one species, that term does not mean a lot.
