We had a very successful outing to Monga NP today. The weather was cool to cold so the birds were quiet but we saw some quality birds.
The highlights were good close views of Pilotbirds on the Waratah walk together with a couple of very tame Olive Whistlers. We also saw several small groups of Red-browed Treecreepers.
Only robin seen was the Southern Yellow Robin.

There were good picnic facilities, good information boards, and an excellent boardwalk in the pinkwood forest.
