And the ABC did the right thing and wrote to COG
asking if it could use the photo. Geoff has given permission for the use of his
photos for "educational" and not-for-profit purposes and, in my role as COG
secretary, I advise the many requesters of his work that they can use it for
such purposes, if properly acknowledged. Perhaps other COGites with photos on
the website, whose work has not yet been requested, might like to give me
an indication as to whether they are happy for me to do the same for them, or
whether they would prefer to have the request forwarded to them to decide.
