Dear All,
I think Mark and Brendan have made a number of good points, I live in Hackett and have commented before on the absence of Sparrows round my home,I have previously blamed this on the Currawongs, having seen an Eastern Rosella taken off a feeding table why not Sparrows? The demise of the Sparrow has coincided with the explosion in Myna numbers. However,Since Christmas, something interesting has happened ,Noisy Mynahs have started a colony behind my home and the Indian Mynahs have been forced out.In the last few weeks the first Sparrows for about three years have reappeared.
I look forward to comments!
                                        Regards,Terry Gourlay.
