A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I had the first Silvereye-free week since the start of the GBS, only to find a flock of about 15 birds a couple of days into the following week (and smaller numbers around eve since). However, they were all lateralis. In other words, numbers of locals have crashed, the gap is temporarily filled by immigrants from the South.
