Spent an enjoyable, foggy morning at the Swift Parrot site in Hackett (off Rivett St) with Tom and Pat. After initially not locating them near their favourite drinking haunt at the reservoir, we eventually found 12 in a tree in the adjacent paddock at about 9.00am, about 300 metres from the reservoir near a small dam. They were initially very active, then later all preened together once the fog had lifted.

Other Psittaciforms in the vicinity were Crimson and Eastern Rosellas, Australian King Parrots, Galahs, Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, Gang-gangs and Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoos.
