Hi Everyone,

We are just back from a very pleasant weekend at Mallacoota with Ian Anderson and Tony Willis.
The weather was great until some rain this morning. About 40 Godwits are still present but this morning they were flying around in close formation so perhaps they will migrate soon. Only saw  2 Eastern Curlews near the beach along with about 40 Pied Oystercatchers.

We saw a good range of bush birds including Yellow-tufted HE where-ever there were "ribbon gums". A highlight was the sighting of 3 Striated Field wrens in short mown heath at the airport.
