Hi there, and my apologies for a posting which is not specifically about birds. It also looks a bit like an ad, but I can guarantee there is no commercial aspect to it.

For some time now I have been thinking of producing a periodic mailout to discuss and review the natural history books which come my way at fairly regular intervals, often through the ABC. While I give them air time there, I've wanted to be able to do more than that for their authors and publishers. I've just produced the first of these, covering 7 books in a word document of just over two pages. If you're interested in being on a mailing list for periodic mailings - probably no more than one a month, though a special event might warrant a special mailing - please let me know OFF LINE!! It is important that I don't interfere with the workings of the cog-line by conducting any private business on it (apart from this one of course!).

My thanks for your forebearance.

Ian
