You must have arrived at about the same time as the great Galah expansion.
Where I came from, Geelong, Gang-gangs were fairly frequent but Galahs were
unknown. I remember my amazement at seeing 3 Galahs feeding on the
Melbourne University oval one spring morning, circa 1959
