I didn't think it had any basis, albeit just in ancient etymology
Oi!!! A bit of respect there, young Philip!! Our entire language - ie our
ability to communicate everything we know - is rooted in 'just ancient
etymology', which means that our ability to understand that language also
is. [Now I'll climb down off my soapbox and hobble off in my zimmer
frame...]
