Hi all and sorry for the delay. Alastair may have stolen a march on us...

There is no 'open' public access to the reserve, because it is surrounded by leasehold land. On the other hand anyone can make an 'appointment' to go there. Ring 6207 2087 and the rangers will make arrangements on your behalf with the lessees. BUT allow about a week for that to be done!

Seems to me that a 'group excursion' or so might by the way to go.

Not wanted you wanted to hear, I realise, but I'm just the messenger....
