From the Cygnus hide a reasonable array of wtaerbirdswere visible with the least usual being 5 Mountain ducks and the resident stilt.  The grass has grown somewhat on Freckled Duck Island so none of the epononymes were visible.

Moving round to the Inlet Channel it was rather warm and the target species were finding it more pleasant to stay within the reeds (or elsewhere out of sight).

I was intrigued about the purpose of the fluoro pink stake that has suddenly appeared next to the Climbing Tree.  I know what this would mean in some of the more "entertaining" parts of Darlinghurst - but at Kellys Swamp?? Perhaps someone has slightly mis-interpreted the phrase "Going to see the duckies at Jerrabombera"?  .
