I am just updating my lifelist as part of a transfer from EXCEL to BIRDINFO and am fascinated by the names of some species I have yet to mark off.  I suspect the hardest will be Habroptila wallacii - the Invisible Rail!
The same process is also doing the length of my list some damage as I discover that some of my ticks are in fact duplicates (eg Common Moorhen in Europe is called Common Gallinule by the first North American field guide I used).  Unfortunately Gallinula chloropus only appears once.
