Kelly's again

Another morning vigil at Kelly's produced neither rail nor sandpiper; I sometimes wonder if I'm at the same Kelly's as other people. (I even tried a ruse, pretending to leave, then suddenly stopping on Dairy Flat Road and hopping the fence for another try; this, you should understand, was a Clever Trick, and not to be confused with Desperation. Didn't work though.)

At the Kelly's I was at, I did see my 114th species for Jerra; an immature (ie non-)White-throated Gerygone. And the number of swamphen and moorhen chicks (not to mention rabbits) suggests that the fox control is working.

Happy birding all - and feel free to keep tantalising me with your rails!!

Ian
